  Language Services for Companies

Many companies seek for business partners worldwide. I offer my services in this field in order to help the entrepreneurs and their staff take advantage of such opportunities.

For making the co-operation between different countries more successful, business people need to know foreign languages on the corresponding level.

First of all, it concerns English as the most widely spoken language in all the parts of the today’s world (“Latin of the 21st century”), and especially Business English with its specific words and expressions needed for business communication. No matter what country you visit, you will certainly meet people speaking English there.

Besides English, proficiency in other languages is also required for establishing contacts with some particular regions.

As for East Europe, it concerns first of all Russian as one of the most important languages of this region, which is spoken not only in Russia but also in all the other countries of the former USSR including Baltic states as well as in Israel (because of a great number of Russian-speaking immigrants).

Another important language of East Europe is Ukrainian. Nowadays, Ukraine is striving for the integration into the European community — if not for the full EU membership, then at least for a closer co-operation with the European structures and the common European market.

Both Ukrainian and Russian are East-Slavonic languages. Ukrainian is mostly spoken in the Western and Central parts of Ukraine (especially in Galicia). Outside Ukraine, this language is used in some adjacent countries such as Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia etc., as well as in Canada (mostly in such provinces as Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta), in the USA, in Brazil, Argentina, Australia and some other countries.
